August John Campbell is an Instructional Associate Professor in the Department of Health and Kinesiology at Texas A&M University. He joined the university in 2007 as a Lecturer, advancing to Instructional Assistant Professor (2009) and Instructional Associate Professor (2018). He holds a B.S. in Kinesiology from Texas A&M (1997) and an M.Ed. in Educational Administration from Texas State University (2005).

Research & Teaching Interests: Campbell focuses on physical education activity, health and fitness science, and sports coaching education.
