LAURA GREGORY is a Senior Lecturer and Programme Lead in Early Years Education at Edge Hill University, overseeing the FdA Early Years Education and Leadership, BA (Hons) Early Years Education, and BA (Hons) Early Years Leadership programmes. She transitioned from 18 years in Early Years practice (nurseries, children's centers, Local Authority leadership) to academia, holding roles as Assessor, Mentor, and Visiting Lecturer before her current position.

Research Interests: Laura focuses on child consultation methodologies and the design of enabling environments in Early Years settings. She leads a National Children's Bureau collaboration training students in the 'Making it REAL' literacy approach, assessing its impact on graduate employability and home learning support.
