L. Ramdas Ram-Mohan

L. Ramdas Ram-Mohan is a Professor of Physics at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), with an affiliation to the Electrical & Computer Engineering Department. He holds a BS from Delhi University and specializes in the physics of nanoscale systems, quantum scattering simulations, and finite element modeling. His research bridges quantum mechanics, electromagnetism, and materials science, with a focus on topological materials, nanoelectronics, and energy extraction mechanisms in extreme environments.

Key research interests include geometrodynamics of quantum-confined systems, extraordinary magnetoresistance optimization, and wavefunction engineering in semiconductor heterostructures. He has pioneered methods like Hermite finite element analysis for high-accuracy electromagnetic field calculations and quantum transport modeling in 2D materials.
