L van den Berg is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, specializing in Social Law. They hold additional roles as Assistant Professor at the Kooijmans Institute and contribute to research on Fundamental Rights, Regulation, and Responsible Government. Ancillary activities include serving as a judge-replacement in Gelderland’s administrative court and authoring sections of the Kluwer Tax Law Curriculum.
Research focuses on administrative law, labor law, social security law, and tax law, with a particular interest in workers' rights and regulatory frameworks.
