Kyunghye Yoon

Dr. Kyunghye (Konhe) Yoon is an Associate Professor in the Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) program at St. Catherine University, where she has taught since 2012. Her research examines human information interactions in digital environments, including cognitive and linguistic aspects of information seeking, social tagging behaviors, and semiotic analysis of information meaning.

Current investigations focus on user-generated content in online book reviews and the social/ethical implications of information technologies. She maintains active research streams in web usability and accessibility standards.

Yoon has led curriculum development initiatives including the creation of undergraduate minors in Digital Humanities and Information Systems. She serves on university committees including the Web Oversight Committee and Accessible Technology and Information Committee.
