Kyunghan Choi is a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Alberta, working under Professors Hao Wang and Thomas Hillen within the ILMEE institute. His research focuses on biological diffusion, pattern formation, and cognitive movement models involving nonlocal sensing mechanisms. He holds a PhD in Mathematical Sciences from KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology).
- Education: PhD in Mathematical Sciences, KAIST
His work explores interdisciplinary topics including chemotaxis modeling and spatial dynamics of biological systems. Recent articles emphasize cyanobacterial bloom patterns and animal movement derivations with memory effects.
