Kyriakos E. Georgiou serves as a Senior Administrative Officer at the Office of the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs at the University of Nicosia while concurrently holding the position of Researcher and Lecturer (Knowledge Worker). He teaches courses in Business Administration and Mechanical Engineering and has supervised over 20 MBA dissertations, demonstrating significant academic mentorship.
His formal education includes:

- Master of Business Administration, University of Houston, 1988
Georgiou's research centers on Sustainable Development and Environmental Sustainability, with specialized focus on rural and mountainous regions like Troodos, Cyprus. With over 20 years of experience, he has led national and European research projects in these domains and, for the past decade, concentrated on Erasmus+ Key Action 2 initiatives developing academic programs across Asia and Africa. His work bridges environmental science, project management, and international educational development.
He maintains active professional affiliations with the Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber (E.T.E.K.), American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Cyprus Computer Society, and Cyprus Human Resource Management Association. Additionally, he serves as trustee and treasurer of the Foundation of the Liberation Struggle EOKA 1955–1959, contributing to historical research preservation.
