Kylie Gumbleton is a Course Director and Lecturer in Accounting at Charles Sturt University (CSU), affiliated with the Faculty of Business, Justice and Behavioural Sciences and the School of Accounting and Finance. She has been with CSU since 2010, contributing to both the School of Accounting and Finance and the School of Agricultural and Wine Sciences. Her roles include teaching and curriculum development across undergraduate and postgraduate accounting programs, with a focus on financial management, agricultural business, and accounting standards.
Her research interests bridge accounting practices and educational innovation, particularly in online delivery and home-schooling impacts on higher education. She has published on topics like teaching-learning practices and equity in education. Kylie has extensive industry experience, including roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers (tax and business advisory), Australian Federal Police (change management), and Chartered Accountants ANZ (CA Program facilitation).
Kylie actively participates in academic events, such as the 2022 AHRI Conference and the 2021 FOBJS Symposium, contributing to professional development and pedagogical advancements. She holds a membership with Chartered Accountants Australia New Zealand.
