Dr. Leah Meng is a Lecturer in the School of Accounting, Economics and Finance at Curtin University (Perth campus), affiliated with the Faculty of Business and Law. She contributes to the Office of the Provost and holds academic qualifications including a PhD, Master of Accounting (MAcc), Bachelor of Commerce (First Class Honors), and a Postgraduate Diploma in Finance. Her professional memberships include Chartered Accountant (CA) ANZ and the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Accounting (AFAANZ).
Her research focuses on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Accounting Education, ESG frameworks, and Financial Literacy Impact. Key work includes analyzing managerial compensation dynamics in China's state-owned enterprises and contributions to accounting textbooks such as CPA Study Guide Financial Reporting (6th ed.) and Company Accounting (12th ed.) via Wiley.
Teaching expertise includes Financial Accounting, and her publications span peer-reviewed journals like Economic Modelling and scholarly book chapters. Her research bridges theoretical frameworks with practical applications in corporate governance and regulatory environments.
