Kyle Connaughton

Kyle Connaughton is a chef, culinary educator, and co-founder of Pilot R+D and SingleThread, a three-Michelin-starred restaurant in Healdsburg, CA. He contributed to the Culinary Institute of America’s (CIA) Culinary Science bachelor’s degree curriculum and serves on its Advisory Committee, earning an honorary doctorate from CIA in 2022.

SingleThread, co-owned with his wife Katina, achieved a four-star San Francisco Chronicle review and Michelin Green Star for sustainability. It ranked #37 (2021) and #50 (2022) on World’s 50 Best Restaurants. His culinary work emphasizes innovation and environmental stewardship.
