Dr. Kwabena Asare is a Research Fellow at the Department of Non-Communicable Disease Epidemiology, Faculty of Epidemiology and Population Health, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM). He holds a PhD in Public Health from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and an MSc in Epidemiology from Wits University, both in South Africa. His research focuses on infections, brain health, frailty in aging populations, and electronic health records, with fieldwork spanning South Africa, Ghana, and the UK.

Publication Trends: His recent articles (2022–2025) predominantly analyze HIV treatment outcomes, antiretroviral therapy efficacy, and comorbidities in African populations. Key themes include dolutegravir-based regimens, maternal/child health, diabetes management, and climate-health interactions, employing cohort studies, clinical trials, and geospatial analyses.
