Kurt F Summersgill

Kurt F Summersgill, DDS, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Diagnostic Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. He holds advanced degrees from Loyola University, Temple University School of Dental Medicine, and the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. His research focuses on oral pathology, oncology, and molecular diagnostics, particularly in odontogenic tumors, bone cysts, and pediatric dental disorders. Notable contributions include studies on EWSR1 rearrangements in clear cell odontogenic carcinoma and molecular analyses of salivary gland tumors.
