He specializes in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology with a focus on gastrointestinal and liver pathology. His clinical expertise includes diagnoses of gastrointestinal disorders such as Barrett Esophagus, hepatocellular carcinoma, inflammatory bowel diseases, and diagnostic challenges in salivary gland cytopathology.
Dr. Miller's research focuses on molecular mechanisms underlying gastrointestinal carcinogenesis, immune profiling in transplant-associated conditions, and diagnostic accuracy in salivary gland lesions. He has contributed to studies on esophageal squamous cell differentiation, T-cell mediated gastrointestinal graft-versus-host disease, and rare tumors like epithelioid angiosarcoma.
He completed his MD and MPH at East Carolina University School of Medicine (2014-2017), followed by residency in Pathology at Johns Hopkins University (2014-2018) and a GI/Liver Pathology Fellowship at Johns Hopkins (2018-2019).
