Kuba Dymitr Bomba

Kuba Dymitr Bomba M.Sc. is a researcher at the Institute of Colloid and Biointerface Science within the Department of Natural Sciences and Sustainable Resources at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU).

His research focuses on Colloid Science, Nanotechnology, Polymer Science, Materials Science, Sustainable Materials, and Waste Recycling. His work centers on developing innovative approaches for creating biodegradable polymers from recycled plastic waste, contributing to circular economy principles and sustainable materials development.

Currently, he is actively involved in the European Commission-funded project "Nanoparticles for biodecomposable polymers made from upcycled PET&PP waste" (December 2020 - April 2025), collaborating between the Institute of Colloid and Biointerface Science and the Institute of Environmental Biotechnology at BOKU. This research has significant potential applications in reducing plastic pollution and developing environmentally friendly materials solutions.
