Krisztina Rácz

Krisztina Rácz serves as a Research Fellow at the Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory (IFDT), University of Belgrade, conducting interdisciplinary research spanning language studies, multilingualism, ethnic minorities, education, social memory, gender, and migration with concentrated focus on Central and Southeastern Europe.

Her ethnographic methodology examines language socialization in minority communities through fieldwork in Serbia, Slovenia, and Romania, analyzing how Hungarian speakers navigate majority-language environments. Recent work investigates performative fluency strategies in Vojvodina and Romania, revealing complex identity negotiations within multilingual social structures. She publishes in English, Serbian, and Hungarian, bridging regional and international academic discourse.
