Kristine Dyrmann is a Junior Research Fellow at Linacre College, University of Oxford. She holds a PhD in History from Aarhus University (2021) and previously held a research fellowship from the Danish Ministry for Culture (2021–2022). Her work focuses on gender, diplomacy, and political practices in 18th- and 19th-century Denmark-Norway. She has also collaborated with museums, including Gammel Estrup, examining servants’ experiences in Danish country houses and material culture.

Her research investigates how elite women influenced diplomatic and political decisions through informal networks, using archival sources like correspondence and memoirs. She is currently writing a monograph on women’s roles in gendered diplomatic practices during the Napoleonic Wars. She has also explored material culture through museum collaborations, including historical dress reconstruction.
