Kristina Monteiro is the Director of Academic Assessment and Evaluation for the Program in Biology at Brown University's Division of Biology and Medicine, and a Lecturer in Biology. She specializes in educational data analysis, curricular evaluation, and research design. Her roles include mentoring students, advising concentrations, and consulting on statistical methodologies for biological and educational research.
Teaching focuses on courses such as BIOL 0946: Research Design and Quantitative Methods for the Health Sciences, BIOL 1000: Quality Improvement Science and Application, and BIOL 0100: Living Biology at Brown and Beyond.
