Kristina Cerling is a Professor of Education at Houston Christian University, where she also serves as the Associate Provost for Academic Affairs and Dean of the Graduate School. She is affiliated with the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences and the Department of Education.

Dr. Cerling's research focuses on educational administration, secondary literacy, Holocaust education, and social justice. She has extensively studied teaching strategies, classroom management, and methodology, and has participated in programs such as the National Writing Project and the Olga Lengyl Institute for Holocaust Studies and Human Rights. Her work also addresses contemporary issues like teaching Generation Z and the use of rubrics in college classrooms.
