Kristin Wells

Kristin Wells is a first-year PhD student and Adjunct Instructor at The Media School, Indiana University, concurrently serving as a Graduate Assistant with responsibilities in the Media School Archive's Miley Collection project, which preserves sport broadcasts dating back to the 1920s.

Her academic qualifications include:

• Master of Arts in Media from The Media School, Indiana University, with thesis titled "Sport Documentary, Historiography, and the Collegiate Athletic Protest"
• Bachelor's degrees in Media Studies and Spanish from the University of Tulsa

Wells' research critically examines intersections between sport, media cultures, and social movements, with deep engagement in media history, historiography, and sport documentary analysis.
