Kristin Biggins

Kristin Biggins holds the rank of Associate Professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions (RMUoHP). She serves as the Concentration Track Director for the Hand Track of the Post-Professional Doctor of Occupational Therapy program. Her career spans over three decades in occupational therapy, with certifications in hand therapy (since 2003) and lymphedema (2019). She has been affiliated with RMUoHP since 2013, progressing from a teacher’s assistant to adjunct faculty before assuming her current role.

• Education: B.S. in Physical Education/Athletic Training (Boise State University, 1985), M.S. in Occupational Therapy (San Jose State University, 1992), OTD (RMUoHP, 2013).

Her clinical practice focuses on upper extremity rehabilitation, post-operative care, and integrative approaches for lymphedema and cancer patients. She emphasizes holistic occupational therapy principles, incorporating medical yoga into patient care through her privately owned studio. Professional activities include promoting OT in wellness and preventive healthcare contexts.

She works clinically at St. Luke’s Wood River Medical Center in Hailey, Idaho, while maintaining active involvement in outdoor activities like hiking, biking, and photography.
