Kristen Wolff

Kristen Wolff is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Law at the University of Michigan Law School, where she works in the Zell Entrepreneurship Clinic. She supports inventors and entrepreneurs through her clinical teaching and practice. Wolff has a strong engineering background and a career focused on intellectual property strategy for startups.

Her research interests include Intellectual Property and Antitrust, Corporate and Securities Law, Law and Technology, and Public Interest Law. She practiced as an intellectual property attorney in California at firms like Knobbe Martens and Foley & Lardner, advising early-stage startups. She later co-founded the Aurora Consulting Group to provide part-time in-house patent counsel services and worked at the University of Michigan Office of Technology Transfer. She also guest lectures at the University of Michigan College of Engineering.

At Michigan Law, she teaches courses such as Entrepreneurship Clinic Seminar, Advanced Clinical Law, and Zell Entrepreneurship Clinic Mini-Seminar.
