Jeff Sinclair

Jeff Sinclair is a current Lecturer at the University of Michigan, affiliated with the Ross School of Business. He previously served as a Senior Partner and Director at McKinsey & Company, where he worked for over 30 years before retiring in December 2012.

• Education: MBA (1981) and BSECE (1979) from the University of Michigan.
• Advisory Roles: Member of the Zell Lurie Institute Advisory Board; former Advisory Board member for the Center for Entrepreneurship in the College of Engineering.

His research and expertise focus on business strategy, operations management, and innovation, with a strong emphasis on entrepreneurship and startup advisory. He has co-founded McKinsey's Manufacturing Practice and led global initiatives on operations strategy.

Jeff has invested in over 30 startups and serves on the advisory board of Sus Clinicals, a health sciences company. He has also contributed to economic development through nonprofit organizations.
