Kristen Park Wedlock is an Associate Professor of Writing at Georgian Court University's School of Arts, Sciences, and Education. As Director of General Education, she integrates contemplative practices into English pedagogy.

Her research focuses on contemplative writing through the dharma arts tradition, merging somatic practices (dance, yoga) with critical pedagogy to dismantle bias and foster cognitive empathy. Publications examine trauma narratives in education, media representations of privilege, and somatic approaches to film and literary analysis.
Recent articles explore trauma-informed teaching, stereotype disruption in TV/poetry, and dance horror film semiotics. She is a co-founder of Precipice Collective and former Editorial Board member of Bombay Gin Literary Magazine.
