Kristen Hutchins

Dr. Kristen Hutchins is a Professor at Howard Payne University (HPU) with a focus on physiology and anatomy. She serves as JAMP (Joint Admission Medical Program) Faculty Director, Beta Beta Beta Co-Advisor, and pre-health advisor for HPU students.

• Presented research on "The Physiology of Death by Crucifixion" at the national Human Anatomy and Physiology Society Annual Meeting
• Co-created HPU's Academic Leadership Academy
• Teaches science instruction for Summer Scholars academic camp

Her work uniquely bridges biological sciences with religious studies, particularly through anatomical analysis of historical crucifixion practices and their theological significance.
