Through The Food Connection, she plays a key role in supporting student initiatives and fostering the next generation of agricultural leaders. Her professional activities demonstrate a strong commitment to connecting academic work with real-world food system challenges and solutions.
Jacobsen's personal connection to sustainable agriculture is evident in her stated preference for freshly dug Kentucky carrots as her favorite locally grown food and the BCS walk-behind tractor as her preferred farm tool, reflecting her hands-on approach to the field.
