Kris Vespia

Kris Vespia is the Director of the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning (CATL) at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and a Professor of Psychology. Her work focuses on pedagogical innovation and mental health research.

• Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology, University of Iowa

Her research spans teaching and learning, college student mental health, cultural intersections in mental health, and career development. She advocates for inclusive teaching practices and contributes to the scholarship of teaching and learning (SoTL).

As Director of CATL, she supports faculty development and pedagogical research. She teaches a capstone course on mental health treatment, balancing her administrative role with academic engagement.
