Kris Lowrey is an Assistant Professor of Communication in the Department of Communication and Digital Media at Alvernia University's College of Business, Communication and Leadership. She is based at the John R. Post Center at Reading CollegeTowne and can be reached at kris.lowrey@alvernia.edu.

Her interdisciplinary approach bridges rhetorical theory, literacy studies, and historiography, with a focus on empowering underrepresented voices through narrative practices.
Her scholarly work has been presented at major national and international forums including the Conference on College Composition and Communication (CCCC), Feminisms and Rhetorics, the Pennsylvania Historical Association, and MIRCI (now IAMAS).
