Kris Alexanderson is an Associate Professor of History at the University of the Pacific, teaching in the Department of History. She specializes in global maritime networks, colonialism, and environmental history. Her research focuses on anti-colonial movements across the Dutch Empire, particularly through oceanic connections between Indonesia, East Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.
