Kourosh Dadgar is an Associate Professor at the University of San Francisco's School of Management, holding a dual appointment in the Business Analytics and Information Systems (BAIS) Department. He is a Full-Time Faculty member with expertise in Health IT, Business Analytics, and Design Science Research. Dadgar currently serves as Program Director for the MSIS program (2024–present) and Program Lead for the MIM Business Technology Concentration (2024–present). He has held leadership roles including Chair of the BAIS Department Search Committee (2022–2023) and Founder of the AIS USF Student Chapter (2017–present).
His education includes a PhD in Management Information Systems from Washington State University (2016), MA in Industrial and Product Design from The Ohio State University (2011), and BA in Industrial Design from the University of Tehran (2008). His research focuses on value-sensitive design in healthcare technologies, process automation, and the ethical implications of business intelligence systems.
Notable achievements include the 2024 School of Management Outstanding Teaching Award and 2021–2022 Faculty Advisor of the Year. His work bridges technology, human factors, and organizational systems with a focus on healthcare innovation and ethical ICT applications.
