Kostas Kokkotas is a Professor of Theoretical Astrophysics at the University of Tübingen, Germany, leading the Theoretical Astrophysics (TAT) group. He holds an Honorary Professorship at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. His academic journey includes degrees from the University of Thessaloniki (BSc, PhD) and Cardiff University (MSc).

Teaching includes courses on General Relativity, Numerical Methods, and Relativistic Astrophysics.
