Koryun Asatryan, born in 1985 in Yerevan, Armenia, is a Lecturer for Saxophone and Chamber Music at the Institute for Artistic Instrumental Studies. He began his musical education at the Yerevan Music School under Prof. Alexander Manukyan (1993) and continued with Prof. Daniel Gauthier in Dortmund and Cologne, graduating with a concert diploma in 2009.

His research and performance focus spans music performance techniques, historical interpretation, and chamber ensemble dynamics. Asatryan’s career highlights include collaborations with renowned orchestras such as the MDR Symphony Orchestra, WDR Radio Orchestra, and Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra, alongside participation in prestigious festivals like the Lucerne Festival and Rheingau Music Festival.
