Vincent Haïssaguerre

Vincent Haïssaguerre serves as Lecturer for subject didactics/methodology of clarinet and saxophone at the State University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart since 2023, and leads the saxophone class at Tübingen Music School (founded by Carina Raschèr) since 2014. His career integrates performance excellence with dedicated music education.

His educational foundation includes artistic training under Jean-Denis Michat and Vincent David, followed by master's studies at the Cologne University of Music and Dance under Prof. Daniel Gauthier, with collaborations involving the Casals and Auryn Quartets and clarinetist Prof. Hans-Dietrich Klaus.

Haïssaguerre's professional focus centers on saxophone and clarinet performance, chamber music, and contemporary repertoire interpretation. Critics highlight his 'very good control of his instrument,' 'natural sense of phrasing,' and 'wide variety of tonal colors'—qualities demonstrated through premieres of new works by composers like Thierry de Mey at festivals including the Brussels Festival of Contemporary Music and Dance and Lyon Biennale of Contemporary Art.
