Konrad Garnowski

Dr. Konrad Garnowski is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Szczecin, Poland. He has been affiliated with the university since 2015, contributing to teaching, research, and administrative roles. His academic journey includes a 2011 LL.B. from the University of Szczecin and a 2019 Ph.D. from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, focusing on transportation law.

Research interests center on civil law, commercial law, and transportation law, with a focus on contract performance in road, rail, and air transport. His work explores international conventions, EU directives, and Polish legal frameworks. Garnowski has published extensively, including a monograph on carriage contracts and articles in Polish and English scholarly journals.

Teaching activities include civil law, legal document drafting, and international commercial law in both Polish and English. He participated in the Erasmus+ program (2019), delivering guest lectures at the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka. Professional roles outside academia include practicing law since 2010 and serving as a legal counsel since 2015.

Within the university, Garnowski chairs the Norwegian Law School team, contributes to the Transport Law and Transport Insurance group, and leads the Virtual Law Firm initiative. His work bridges academic research with practical legal challenges in transport and commercial sectors.
