Knut Einar Skodvin is a Professor at the Faculty of Law, University of Bergen. His research focuses on international law, maritime law, constitutional law, and legal culture. He is affiliated with research groups including the Research Group for International Law and the Research Group for Civil Procedure and Conflict Resolution.
His academic contributions span legal frameworks for maritime authority, constitutional challenges in security contexts, and comparative legal studies. He has published extensively on topics like the EEA Agreement’s applicability to maritime zones, military-police collaboration under Norwegian law, and Arctic shipping governance.
