Klaus Otto Wilhelm Siebelhoff (June 27, 1936 – February 7, 2019) was a Professor at the School of Social Sciences at Friedensau Adventist University (FAU) from 1993 to 2004, teaching courses such as 'Institutional and Legal Basics of Social Work' and 'Social and Administration Law.' Simultaneously, he served as Mayor of Friedensau from 1993 to 2004, leading municipal reforms and infrastructure projects including a modern fire station and public sewage system integration.
Before joining FAU, he held administrative roles in North Rhine-Westphalia, studied theology at the Preaching and Pastor Seminary Marienhöhe (1967–1969), and taught 'Civil and Administration Education' at the Badische Gemeindeverwaltungsschule. He also served as Mayor of Marne (1977–1993) and chaired local administrative committees and water associations.
His legacy includes shaping FAU's social sciences programs and fostering international student engagement through his mentorship. Colleagues praised his contributions to both academia and municipal governance, noting his 'paternal nature' and dedication to community welfare.
