Klaus Derfuss

Klaus Derfuss is a tenured Assistant Professor at the Department of Accounting and Auditing — Management within the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Groningen. He previously held roles including Assistant Professor at FernUniversität in Hagen (2009–2018, including a Habilitation in 2018) and Interim Professor of Management at TU Dortmund University (2019–2021). His expertise bridges Management Accounting, Behavioral Accounting, and Service Management, with a focus on behavioral research questions and interdisciplinary insights from economics, psychology, and strategy.
