Klaus Brockhoff

Professor Klaus Brockhoff is an Honorary Professor at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management since 2005. Previously, he served as Dean of WHU from 1999 to 2004 and led the Chair for Corporate Management. He also directed the Institute for Technology and Innovation Management and the Institute for Business Administration at Christian-Albrechts-Universität in Kiel. His research focuses on corporate governance, innovation management, and the history of business administration. He has received notable awards including the Karl-Heinz-Beckurts Prize and the Max-Planck Research Award, and is a member of several prestigious academies.

His work spans interdisciplinary fields such as technology management, business strategy, and historical analysis of economic systems. He has authored over 300 articles and 20 books, contributing significantly to academic discourse in business education and research management. His recent publications explore adoption criteria for innovative business techniques, historical management practices, and the evolution of academic disciplines.
