Professor Kishore Sengupta holds the academic rank of Professor of Operations Management at the Cambridge Judge Business School, University of Cambridge. He has held academic and professional roles across institutions in the UK, USA, France, Hong Kong, and India. His research focuses on managing complex projects, organizational complexity, and the future of work in the context of technological disruption. He has advised the US Department of Defense, NASA, and organizations in Silicon Valley and Hong Kong. Professor Sengupta has created executive education programs such as the Senior Management Programme and teaches courses like Leading Effective Projects in MBA/EMBA programs.

His research interests include strategic project management, risk integration in decision-making, and innovation management. Notable publications appear in Management Science, Organization Science, and Harvard Business Review. He co-authored a book on Nigeria’s megaproject challenges and is currently working on a book about executive time management. Awards include the European Case Award for pedagogical contributions.
