Kirsten Way

Associate Professor Kirsten Way holds a dual appointment at The University of Queensland's School of Psychology and the Centre for Business and Organisational Psychology. Her work focuses on psychosocial hazards in workplaces, including bullying, fatigue, and sexual harassment, alongside regulatory frameworks for occupational safety. Dr. Way is a certified Occupational Therapist and Ergonomist with extensive industry experience in WHS policy development, including contributions to Safe Work Australia guidelines and NSW’s Mentally Healthy Workplaces Strategy.

Education: PhD in Psychology (UQ), Bachelor of Occupational Therapy and Arts (UQ), and a Graduate Certificate in Higher Education (Australian Catholic University). Research emphasizes work design, mental health promotion, and human factors in high-risk industries like mining and construction.
