Kirk Bansak is an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of California, Berkeley. He serves as Inaugural Faculty Director of the Yardi Scholarship and is affiliated with the Immigration Policy Lab (Stanford/ETH Zurich) and the Berkeley Interdisciplinary Migration Initiative (BIMI).
Research Interests:

- Refugee resettlement and asylum politics
- Algorithmic decision-making and public policy
- Public opinion and political behavior
