Kiril Radev

Kiril Radev is an Associate Professor in the Department of Administration and Management at the Faculty of Economics and Business, New Bulgarian University (NBU). He also holds honorary teaching positions at the University of National and World Economy (UNSS) and Technical University 'Todor Kableshkov' in Sofia. At NBU, he serves as Director of the Master's Program 'Business Administration' and Director of the Educational-Training Enterprise since 2011.

Professor Radev's research focuses on management theory and practice across multiple sectors including transportation, energy, chemical, and mechanical engineering industries in Bulgaria and EU countries. His work addresses public sector management, crisis management, quality systems, organizational development, and sustainable business practices. He has developed innovative approaches to leadership, strategic planning, and management consulting with particular emphasis on EU integration challenges.

His publication record shows consistent focus on digital transformation, Industry 4.0 challenges, sustainable development, and quality management across economic sectors. The research demonstrates strong connections between theoretical management concepts and practical applications in railway systems interoperability, energy policy, and organizational behavior within Bulgarian and European contexts.

Professor Radev has supervised numerous bachelor's, master's, and doctoral theses throughout his academic career. He leads the Educational-Training Enterprise at NBU and has participated in multiple national strategic projects related to transportation infrastructure, often funded by EU mechanisms, including national strategies for railway interoperability and intermodal terminal development.

His professional experience uniquely combines academic work with industry applications, particularly in transportation and energy sectors, reflecting his background in both engineering and management disciplines. He serves on the 'Innovation Council' at the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and is a member of the Bulgarian Federation of Radio Amateurs.
