Kiran Nasir Gore is a Professorial Lecturer in Law at The George Washington University Law School with nearly fifteen years of professional experience as an arbitrator, dispute resolution consultant, and counsel. She teaches public international law, international dispute resolution, constitutional law, civil procedure, and advocacy while maintaining an active practice representing clients before U.S. courts, arbitration panels, and investment tribunals.

Her research centers on public international law and dispute resolution systems, with particular expertise in investor-state arbitration and treaty law applications. She has co-authored foundational texts including The Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties in Investor-State Disputes (2022) and upcoming work on Central Asian investment law, contributing significantly to scholarship on arbitration frameworks and cross-border legal mechanisms.
Ms. Gore serves as academic advisor to graduate law students and has coached the Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot team since 2018. Her 2022 course International Business Transactions Seminar: the Global Economy & International Disputes achieved record enrollment through its practical approach to high-stakes international disputes.
She actively shapes the field through editorial leadership as Associate Editor of ICSID Review and Kluwer Arbitration Blog, plus service on the ICC Task Force on ADR and Arbitration, connecting academic scholarship with evolving industry practices.
