Barry Appleton

Barry Appleton is a Distinguished Adjunct Professor of Law and Co-Director of the Center for International Law at New York Law School. He teaches courses in international commercial arbitration, public international law, and international business transactions, while coaching prestigious moot court teams including the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition and the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot.

Professional Roles include Managing Partner at Appleton & Associates International Lawyers LP, where he specializes in investment treaty arbitration, and editorial leadership of Investor-State Reports and Appleton’s International Investment Law and Arbitration News.
