Kiran Luecke

Kiran Luecke is a J.L. Doob Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, affiliated with the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences. She completed her doctoral studies in 2023 at the University of California, Berkeley under the supervision of Constantin Teleman.

Her primary research interests span several interconnected mathematical disciplines:

• Algebraic Topology: Exploring structural properties of topological spaces using algebraic invariants
• Chromatic Homotopy Theory: Investigating periodic phenomena in stable homotopy theory
• Mathematical Physics: Applying advanced mathematical frameworks to physical theories
• Representation Theory: Studying algebraic structures through linear transformations

She maintains an active role in the mathematical community as the organizer of the UIUC Topology Seminar, facilitating academic discourse and collaboration among researchers.
