Kira Lewandowski, MA (born 1995), is a research associate and doctoral student at the Ruhr University Bochum (RUB) within the Collaborative Research Center 1567 'Virtual Lifeworlds'. She holds a BA and MA in Philosophy and Education from RUB. Her current roles include work in Prof. Dr. Sandra Aßmann's subproject C01 (Virtual Lifeworlds) and Prof. Henrike Terhart's 'Teachers Plus' program. She previously served as a research assistant in the 'Social Spaces and Places of Non-Formal and Informal Learning' and 'Philosophy Didactics' departments.
Her research focuses on virtual environments' impact on education, media practices, and self-measurement behaviors. Recent projects include analyzing virtual influencers' educational implications and studying digital work practices. She contributes to interdisciplinary initiatives exploring situatedness and virtual embodiment.
Lewandowski teaches courses on self-measurement practices and well-being in virtual worlds. Her publications address media education, student media behavior, and virtual lifeworld dynamics. She collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, emphasizing situated research methodologies.
