Kira Bailey is the David O. Robbins Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience Program Director at Ohio Wesleyan University. She joined the faculty in 2015 after completing a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Missouri – Columbia.

- B.A. in Psychology and Sociology, Concord University
- M.S. and Ph.D. in Psychology, Iowa State University
Her research focuses on how experience modifies neural bases of cognitive control, affective information processing, and decision-making. She investigates:
- Effects of video games on emotion and cognition
- Relationship between pathological gaming and impulsivity/decision-making under risk
- Neural impacts of alcohol use and individual differences in alcohol sensitivity
She was awarded the 2021 Sherwood Dodge Shankland Award for her contributions to teaching.
