Kingshuk K. Sinha is a Professor and Chair of the Supply Chain and Operations Department at the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management, holding the Elmer L. Andersen Chair in Sustainable Supply Chain. He also serves as a Graduate Faculty in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology.

Dr. Sinha's research focuses on technology and innovation management, healthcare supply chain management, and AI-driven analytics for sustainable supply chains. His empirical work spans medical, high-tech, food, retail, and energy sectors, addressing societal challenges through partnerships with industry and nonprofits.
Recent publications (2024-2022) analyze AI-enabled platforms for mental health equity, women's health in developing countries, and supply chain disruptions in healthcare. His work has been recognized with the 2019 Distinguished Service Award from the Journal of Operations Management, 2024 Best Paper Award from the College of Healthcare Operations Management, and Cisco's Tech for Healthcare Grant (2021).
As founding Academic Director of the University of Minnesota's Medical Industry Leadership Institute, he pioneered initiatives integrating precision medicine with supply chain research. He has advised PhD students and GDBA executives, and served as Senior Editor for Production and Operations Management.
