Kimberly Battle

Kimberly Battle is Clinical Associate Professor at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Nursing, Department of Adult Health and Nursing Systems. Her research investigates resilience in marginalized populations, health equity, social determinants of health, and interprofessional education models for chronic disease management.

Publications focus on gerontology, COVID-19 impacts on vulnerable populations, and interprofessional education innovations, employing qualitative and community-engaged methodologies across five recent studies (2020-2022).

She currently leads the Richmond Health and Wellness Program's Prescription Produce Plan grant ($14,973) and serves on the VCU iCubed Health and Wellness in Aging Transdisciplinary Core team.
