Kathie Hendrick Falls, M.S.N., RN, ANP-BC, serves as Director of Clinical Operations and Clinical Instructor for the Mobile Health and Wellness Program at Virginia Commonwealth University. She holds an MSN in Adult Nurse Practitioner from VCU and a BSN from Radford University. Her research focuses on care for marginalized older adults, particularly exploring food access challenges among seniors managing chronic diseases. She currently directs clinical operations at urban sites of the Mobile Health and Wellness Program, emphasizing community-based care delivery.
Her work addresses food insecurity through initiatives like the RHWP Healthy Meal Program, highlighted in Public Health Nursing. She has contributed to studies on aging-in-place technology and pandemic impacts on low-income seniors. Falls is a key faculty advisor on a $6M HRSA-funded grant (2022-2026) supporting the Mobile Health Program's expansion.
Teaching activities include mentoring students in community clinical settings. Her interdisciplinary approach integrates nursing, public health, and technology solutions to improve healthcare access for vulnerable populations.
