Kimberly Davis

Kimberly Davis is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), affiliated with the Department of Family and Community Health Nursing Education. She holds an anticipated Ph.D. in Nursing (2025), an M.S. in Nursing Education from VCU (2021), and a B.S. in Nursing from Saint Anselm College.

Her research focuses on financial health literacy in older adults, interprofessional education strategies, and enhancing primary care roles for registered nurses. Notable projects include the rural-urban nursing student exchange program in primary care and the Geriatrics Workforce Enhancement Program (GWEP).

Dr. Davis is involved in grants such as the Mobile Health and Wellness Program (2022-2026) and serves on committees like the Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders Commission. She teaches undergraduate courses in Professional Nursing and Community Health, and coordinates community clinical placements.

Her scholarly contributions span geriatric education, interprofessional training, and patient self-management strategies. She is a core faculty member of the Virginia Geriatric Education Center and mentors faculty in the CIRCAA program.
